The worst thing about setting out to paint Chefs is that they are so busy.

The best thing is that they are really focused, creative people, which makes them intriguing subjects. I want to capture their confidence and authority.

So far, I’ve completed portraits of Rob Clayton, Richard Bertinet, Rachel Demuth, David Giddings, Laurent Couvreur, Sam Moody and Dave Pynt.
